So you are now the parent of a post-secondary student, what does that actually mean and how it is different than High School? Learn about supporting your student appropriately as they must now advocate for themselves. The facilitators will talk about what you can and can’t do as a parent to help your child through the transition to college and some personal tips and tricks that they used – this session is run at the same time as the Student Experience Panel session.

Student Experience Panel
Get the scoop on what it’s like to be a student at SLC. We have several current students & graduates who share their experiences from application to graduation – this session is run at the same time as How to be a Post-Secondary Parent session.
