Kingston, Ontario is widely known as a student town because of the three post-secondary institutions surrounding the city, but what attracts all of these students? Kingston is one of the highest ranked for most restaurants per capita and is ranked #1 in most golf courses per capita in Canada. With a very inclusive transit system it’s very easy to venture to the downtown core for an afternoon or explore the vibrant nightlife Kingston has to offer. Downtown Kingston is always buzzing with events no matter the season! Movies in the square during the warmer months and ice skating in the winter provides free activities for everyone ages 2-22. There are many activities outside of the downtown core as well that can satisfy any budget such as the drive-in and go-karting, miniature golf, and the driving range. What’s Unique to Kingston Campus?

Kingston campus is currently in the development of a $20.6 million renovation that is divided into three main components. There is the 1) CEBRIC Centre of Excellence, 2) Modernized health sciences simulation labs, and 3) the Student Life and Innovation Centre. The Student Life Centre will include a new gym, better exercise facilities, indigenous student gather space, and a fully licensed pub. The Hello Future project also includes renovations to the current study hall and main lobby as well as the Student Association lounge where there will be better spaces for students to hangout and play games like pool, ping pong and video games. Our Kingston campus offers a 600 bed residence featuring both single and double rooms. Residence features on-site laundry facilities and includes meal plans to be used in the cafeteria on campus which, including the grill, has a Tim Horton’s, Pita Pit, and Papa John’s Pizza. SLC Kingston is home to the St. Lawrence Vikings varsity athletics. Offering a number of different varsity teams competing at the OCAA level, such as:

  • Cross Country
  • Golf
  • Basketball (Men’s & Women’s)
  • Rugby (Men’s & Women’s)
  • Soccer (Men’s & Women’s)
